Strategy and Business Planning

We build your strategy with you, then turn it into a business plan.

At a glance

The problem

Your strategy lives in the founder's head, or in a document nobody opens. You chase each opportunity as it comes, and the budget doesn't match your ambitions.

Timeline
Flexible. It depends on your team's availability.
Format
Workshops with your leadership team.
Delivery
Remote or in person.
Investment
On request.

Who it's for

  • Organizations preparing to grow, raise funds, or change direction.

Who it's not for

  • Teams that need a document for a funder but don't plan to use it.

What's included

Deliverables, depending on what you need

  • A strategy document
  • A business plan with a financial model
  • A one page summary for your board and funders

How it starts

  1. We review where you are, using a diagnosis if you have one.
  2. We run workshops to set direction and choices.
  3. We build the plan and the financial model.
  4. We check in later to see what's working.

Workshops we've given on this topic

  • Double Materiality Lab

Learn to assess how sustainability issues affect your business and how your business affects people and the planet, so you focus on what counts. It helps when you prepare sustainability reporting or a strategy, or respond to investor and client requests, and sustainability, finance and compliance teams usually ask for it.

  • Strategy Toolkit

Learn when and how to use three classic strategic tools: SWOT, PESTEL and BCG Matrix. They give you a quick, structured view of your strengths, your environment and your portfolio, so decisions rest on more than opinion. Use them when you plan a new year, consider a new program or market, or compare options; leadership teams and boards often ask for it.

Project
Double Materiality Assessment

The problem

YEGO, an international shared mobility provider with over 150 people, had sustainability goals but no agreed view of which issues mattered most to its stakeholders or to the business.

What I did

For 6 months I ran the double materiality assessment, using both interviews and surveys to map ESG priorities across stakeholders, reaching over 100 people.

The result

YEGO's 6 company goals became 8 initiatives inside a 3 year sustainability strategy. I documented the process in a report with strategic recommendations and a monitoring and evaluation system the team could use.

Frequently asked questions

We already have a strategy. Can you help with the business plan only?

Yes. We review your strategy first to check the plan and the numbers can support it.

Who should take part in the workshops?

The people who decide and the people who will carry out the plan.

Who builds the financial model?

We build it with whoever manages your finances. You own it and can update it yourselves.

What happens after you deliver the plan?

We check in later to see what's working and what needs adjusting.
